After being contacted on day one of principal photography for “Wizardream,” an indie fantasy film shooting in and around Los Angeles, the West Coast Locals reached out to their members.
On Thursday, the IA and Local Business Agents visited the set and called a crew meeting at lunch. After voting to hold out for a contract, the crew at 2 locations joined their representatives on the sidewalk. As the sun was setting, a contract was signed and the 50 member crew now has health and pension contributions retroactive to date of hire.
