The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees Women’s Committee supports widely available and affordable healthcare options for women, especially those resources that provide services to economically and socially disadvantaged women. In the United States, the recent campaign by some legislators against the funding of Planned Parenthood Federation of America was an unfortunate target used to promote a political agenda.

Planned Parenthood Federation of America provides healthcare, education, screening and advocacy on public health issues relevant to all. As union members who are also women, we must advocate for the health and well-being of all women.
