IATSE Organizes “The Seat Filler”

IA President Short Appoints Safety Chairman

The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employes (IATSE) has reached an agreement with producer Dwayne Martin for the low budget feature “The Seat Filler,” it was announced by Thomas C. Short, IATSE International President. The $2 million motion picture currently shooting in Los Angeles will be covered under the IATSE Low Budget agreement.

Crewmembers agreed to honor an IATSE generated three-hour work stoppage allowing a deal to be made with the producers guaranteeing pension, health and welfare benefits.
