Trustees of the Walsh/Di Tolla/Spivak Foundation will be providing financial assistance.Checks should be made payable to the “Walsh/Di Tolla/Spivak Foundation” and be mailed to the Foundation c/o IATSE, 1430 Broadway, 20th Floor, New York, NY, 10018. Individual members needing assistance should submit a written request to their local union. The Local will then forward the request to the Foundation for review by the Trustees.
Local 839, The Animation Guild, will match contributions made by its members to the Walsh/Di Tolla/Spivak Foundation for Hurricane Sandy relief.To qualify for the Guild match, checks should be made payable to the “Walsh/Di Tolla/Spivak Foundation” and be mailed to the Animation Guild, 1105 N. Hollywood Way, Burbank, CA 91505. The Guild will match the donation and forward it to the Foundation.
$500 disaster grants available to Union Plus program participants. [www.unionplus.org/sandy]Union Plus Disaster Relief Grants of $500 are available to help eligible participants in the Union Plus Credit Card, Insurance or Mortgage programs who are facing financial hardship due to the disaster. The money does not have to be repaid.
