International Vice President DePaulo Elected to Executive Council of The New York State AFL-CIO

Jewish Labor Committee Honors Loeb

NEW YORK — Anthony DePaulo, Seventh Vice President of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employes (IATSE), has been elected to the Executive Council of the New York State AFL-CIO.

Vice President DePaulo joins Peter J. Fitzpatrick, Business Agent for IATSE Local 4, on the 50-member Executive Council. The state AFL-CIO www.nysaflcio.org, an umbrella of 3000 local unions representing two million working people, is the largest state federation in the country and represents nearly one-third of the work forcein New York State.

Vice President DePaulo has served as a member of the IATSE Executive Board since February 2002 and has been a member of the Theatrical Stage Employes, IATSE Local One since 1975. He was elected as a Trustee to the Executive Board of Local One in 1988 and served two terms. In 1996, he became business manager and served in that capacity for three terms.

Since 2004, Vice President DePaulo has served along with Tenth Vice President Brian J. Lawlor as the IATSE’s Stagecraft Co-Division Director. He is based at the IATSE’s New York City headquarters.
