IATSE Local 415 renewed their contract for representation with Arizona Opera Company, it was announced by Thomas C. Short, International President. The three-year agreement covers 40 employees at the Tucson-based Opera House.

The agreement achieved gains for union members that include a four percent increases during each year of the agreement, the Addition of Martin Luther King Day to the list of recognized holidays, the company agreed to dues check-off for work dues, and parity with other unions with regards to travel allowance and per diem. In addition, the travel allowance increased from $40/day to $50/day and the per diem increased from $30/day to $33/day.

International Representative Jamie Fry headed up the negotiation team along with the President and Business Representative of Local 415.
