IATSE Organizes Two New Productions For Web, Cable

IA President Short Appoints Safety Chairman

LOS ANGELES – Continuing to build its momentum in new media and cable organizing, the IATSE, in coordination with Teamsters Local 399, this week has added two new productions to its list of signed agreements.

“Easy Access,” a webisode being shot for Swedish home goods giant IKEA, and the scripted “Eagleheart” for Adult Swim/Cartoon Network, have both been organized and thus able to provide crew members with benefits to date of hire, and standard wages and working conditions.  “Eagleheart” is a live-action comedy from Conan O’Brien’s production company Conaco.

These efforts are part of the continuing successful organizing drives conducted jointly by the IA and the Teamsters in the past few weeks.
