In a recent election, ticket sellers employed by the Nederlander Organization in Detroit, Michigan, voted 8 to 4, in favor of union representation. This organizing effort was spearheaded by IATSE Vice President Timothy Magee with the full support and assistance of Detroit Treasurers and Ticket Sellers Local 757. The Nederlander Organization operates two theaters: Masonic Temple and Fisher Theater.
Negotiations for the new agreement will be under way shortly. Terms and conditions for Subscription Sales Personnel will also included in this agreement.
