RICHMOND, VA — IATSE Local 87 and ASM Global are pleased to announce that a tentative agreement was reached over the weekend, marking a significant step forward in their partnership. On Monday, the details of the agreement were presented to the unit, and an overwhelming 88% of eligible workers voted to ratify the contract.
This new agreement represents a collaborative effort between IATSE Local 87 and ASM Global to address the needs of the skilled workers who help deliver world-class events at the Altria Theatre, Dominion Energy Center, and John Paul Jones Arena. Both sides emphasized their shared commitment to ensuring Richmond remains a premier destination for live entertainment and cultural events.
IATSE International Vice President and Stagecraft Department Director Michael Barnes said, “We are thrilled to see this agreement come to fruition.
