The final vote was held on March 24, 1999 with a tally of 29 to 20 in favor of union representation. An agreement was negotiated and overwhelmingly ratified on August 9, 2000. There are 67 employees in the bargaining unit, consisting of tape and quality control operators, editors and shipping and vault clerks.
