EDMONTON, AB, Apr 29 – The IATSE is pleased to announce that, on April 28th, Local 210 President Siobhan Vipond was elected as Secretary-Treasurer of the Alberta Federation of Labour. Siobhan, who has been a member of IATSE since 2001, worked hard at getting her message out during the campaign and was rewarded with a decisive victory.

After her election, Ms Vipond stated, “I am very honoured to have been elected as Secretary Treasurer. The Alberta Federation of Labour has been an important voice for workers and I am proud to be a part of that.  In this political environment where unions, the environment, families and working people are under attack, we need to stand together and fight back.”
