IATSE and West Coast Locals Organize CW’s “The Hunt”

IA President Short Appoints Safety Chairman

“The Hunt,” a new competition reality show for the CW shooting in the High Sierras of California, now has union benefits and protections for its 70+ IA-covered employees thanks to the solidarity of the crew.

Last week, the IA and representatives of the West Coast Locals traveled north to the small mountain town of Shaver Lake, CA where “The Hunt” has been shooting since the beginning of May. With a dispute pending, we reached an 11th hour deal on Wednesday night, with benefits, wages and working conditions retroactive to date of hire.

Standing together gets results. To help us secure you a contract, send in a call sheet to your Local at the start of production, and sign a representation card when your Local Business Agent requests it.
