IATSE and Local 11 in Boston Successfully Organize The Fleet Boston Pavilion

IATSE Announces Agreement with NETworks

The International, along with Local 11 in Boston, Massachusetts, prevailed in an organizing election for Stagehands at the Fleet Boston Pavilion, it was announced by IATSE President Thomas C. Short.

The final vote was unanimous, 29 to 0, in favor of union representation. The unit will comprise all Stagehands employed at the Pavilion.

The Fleet Boston Pavilion is a 5,000-seat amphitheatre, near the Boston Harbor, which primarily performs rock and roll shows. It is operated by the DLC Corporation, which is owned by SFX Entertainment and a division of the Clean Channel Communication.
The organizing efforts were spearheaded by Local 11’s President Bob Volosevich and Business Manager James Flanders, with the assistance of International Representative Ronnie Lynch.
