“The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and WAD Productions has agreed to IATSE representation, it was announced by International President Thomas C. Short. The single production contract falls under the Video Tape Electronics Supplemental Basic Agreement and Talk Show, Reality Show, Game Show Side Letter and covers approximately 50 employees.

The organizing efforts began with a card count resulting in the IATSE demonstrating a majority status and leading to successful negotiations.

International Representatives Steve Aredas, Carolyn Bowden and Lyle Trachtenberg along with IA Local 600 Business Agent Barbara Jerome lead the effort for representation.
