The Roundabout Theater Company voluntarily recognized the IATSE as the bargaining representative for box office and usher employees, it was announced by Thomas C. Short, president of the International. The Roundabout Theater Company currently owns and operates the new American Airlines Theater in New York.
Negotiations for a new agreement are set to begin during the week of July 10. Organizing efforts were spearheaded by IATSE International Vice President Michael Sullivan and International Representative Ronnie Lynch.
