Real Women Have Curves” Wins at Sundance – To Be Released Theatrically

The HBO Films production “Real Women Have Curves,” which was produced under an IATSE low-budget feature film agreement, won the Dramatic Audience Award at the 2002 Sundance Film Festival. HBO Films produced the film under the Theatrical Agreement as part of their recent decision to extend the HBO brand into the theatrical marketplace.

The picture is receiving critical acclaim and opened the “New Directors, New Films” event at the Museum of Modern Art.

HBO’s television productions are covered under separate term agreements with the International.
