Robyn Cavanagh has been the Assistant Director to the Education and Training Department since 2014. She came to the IATSE after nearly 30 years in the labor movement as an organizer, activist and instructor. Robyn has helped to shape and grow the IATSE leadership and union skills courses including the IATSE Officer Institute which is the flagship 5-day intensive bootcamp; advanced Officer classes and the pivot to online classes and access to education material. “Along with her labor background, Robyn has past experience designing and delivering union skills and leadership training tailored to our membership,” said IATSE International President Matthew Loeb. “The Education and Training department benefits from her dedication to broadening the programs available for IATSE locals and members.
