Chaim is a New York-based member of Local 600, with over 20-years of experience working on production in camera and as an elected officer of that Local and its predecessor, Local 644.  He joins the motion picture department following 21-years of serving as Local 600’s Eastern Region & Associate National Executive Director and Co-chair of the New York Production Locals and East Coast Council, organizing and negotiating agreements and engaging in political advocacy throughout that jurisdiction.

Chaim holds degrees in Political Science and Cinema from SUNY Binghamton, and is a graduate of Cornell’s ILR certificate program and the National Labor College.
