PHILADELPHIA, PA – IATSE Local B29 and Ensemble Arts are pleased to announce that a tentative agreement has been reached covering Ushers, Tuesday. The proposed five-year agreement includes wage increases totaling 23% over the life of the contract plus additional benefits and changes to work rules, reflecting the ushers’ vital role as the face of Ensemble Arts’ venues.

This agreement is the result of professional and productive dialogue and a spirit of collaboration between the two parties. Ensemble Arts Philly and IATSE Local B29 look forward to continuing their 24-year partnership working together to continue to provide exceptional service to the more than one million visitors to the Kimmel Center, Academy of Music, and Miller Theater each year.

The proposed agreement is pending ratification by the membership of IATSE Local B29. Full details will be made available to union members and organization stakeholders in the coming days.
