IATSE Raises $11,000 at Savannah, GA PAC Event

IATSE General Board Endorses Obama 2nd Term

IATSE raised over $11,000 in a PAC event held February 2, 2003 at the Westin Savannah Harbor Resort and Spa, International President Tom Short announced. Sponsored by Georgia-based locals, the event was held in conjunction with the 2004 Mid-Winter General Executive Board Meeting.

“It is paramount for Labor leaders to set an example of action and commitment to their members. As we can see from recent events, workers rights in this country are under attack and we, as labor leaders, must take action both financially and physically to support candidates that are committed to workers’ rights,” International President Tom Short stated. “The IATSE will continue to be in the forefront of this movement.”
