IATSE raised over $10,400 in a PAC event held February 5, 2003 in Palm Springs, CA, International President Tom Short announced. Sponsored by Los Angeles-based Locals, the event was held in conjunction with the Mid-Winter General Executive Board Meeting.

“It has never been more important for Labor leaders to set an example of action and commitment to their members. Workers in this country are at a critical juncture and must take action both financially and physically to support candidates that are committed to workers’ rights,” International President Tom Short stated. “The IATSE will be in the forefront of this movement.”
