CHARLOTTE, NC –The IATSE Political Action Committee received over $12,800 in voluntary contributions at a fund-raiser held January 27th at the Sheraton Charlotte Hotel during the IA’s Mid-Winter General Executive Board Meeting. The reception was attended by officers and representatives of the Alliance as well as local union representatives and officers from all regions of the US and Canada. The Board meeting is being hosted by Locals 161, 322, 491, 600, 700, 798, 800, and USA829.  

Said International President Matthew D. Loeb, “With the new Congress currently weighted heavily with Representatives and Senators who are not labor-friendly and not shy about it, the PAC is more vital than ever. We continue our efforts to elect those who are in favor of fair working conditions and meaningful benefits for working families.”
