LOS ANGELES – At the request of 100% of its crew members, the IATSE has organized the low-budget feature “Without Men,” currently shooting in Ventura, Ca. Starring Eva Longoria Parker and Christian Slater, the film is being directed by Gabriela Tagliavini. Also in the cast are Paul Rodriguez and Maria Conchita Alonzo.
After the crew requested representation, four hours of negotiations followed, with production company Indalo Tales LLC agreeing to sign the contract. Included are health and pension benefits and industry standard working conditions. Regardless of the fact that the film is shooting 65 miles from LA, the IA was still able to come up with an agreement.
