Moline, IL –IATSE Local 85 will sign their first-ever agreement today with the i wireless Center, a 10,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Moline, Illinois.

This five-year agreement with exclusive jurisdiction covers both stagehands and wardrobe employees. It was negotiated over a 10 month period between the union and the Arena. Employees will receive a 20-30% increase of salary in the first year, with a 2.75% increase each year compounded. The agreement also gives employees overtime pay, and union dues to go to Local 85.

International Vice President Jack Beckman, who was involved in the entire 10 month period, says that the agreement was unanimously ratified by Local 85. The agreement goes into effect tomorrow.
