Local 822 has certified hair and makeup employees working for Maple Leaf Sports at the Air Canada Centre. The local already represents wardrobe employees working at the venue.
The Air Canada Centre is Canada’s premiere venue for concerts and sports and is also home to the Toronto Maple Leafs Hockey Club, Toronto Raptors Basketball Club and the Toronto Rock Lacrosse Team. The Air Canada Centre recently celebrated its tenth anniversary, having first opened its doors in February 1999.
