Hollywood Basic Local Negotiations Update: Locals 600, 729 and 800 Reach Tentative Agreements With AMPTP

This week marked the successful conclusion of in-person bargaining with International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) Locals 600, 729 and 800 and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP). These Locals have reached tentative agreements with employers on their craft-specific issues.

The other 10 IATSE West Coast Studio Locals (WCSL) will continue bargaining with the AMPTP on their craft-specific proposals in the coming weeks as part of a phase of the overall Basic Agreement negotiation process. Local negotiations began on March 18 and are expected to last through April 26.

IATSE International Vice President Mike Miller commented, “I commend the Negotiating Committees of Locals 600, 729 and 800 for their work. The fact that tentative agreements were reached shows that the multi-faceted preparation work done by all our West Coast Studio Locals going into these talks is paying dividends.”
