The IATSE Training Trust Fund’s OSHA 10/Entertainment Safety tour made its first stop in Charlotte, NC on February 17 & 18. Seventy-four IATSE members from Locals 278, 322, 347, 442, 491, and 635 attended this inaugural Calendared Course. ICAP members Joe Aldridge (L 720) and Alan Rowe (L 728) were the trainers for this event.

This two day program provides basic training for workers on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in the workplace. You can read more about the OSHA Outreach program here.

Stay tuned for announcements on upcoming Entertainment Safety Tour locations! Local unions should contact the Training Trust Fund if they are interested in having the Tour make a stop in their area.
