FINANCIAL RELIEF AVAILABLE FOR IATSE MEMBERS AFFECTED BY RECENT TORNADOES

IATSE Donation to Disaster Relief Japan

The recent tornadoes that moved through the Southern States over Easter weekend have left extensive destruction and have potentially affected some of your members.

We are suggesting that those IATSE members who were affected apply for assistance through their local union and we are requesting your assistance with this effort. Please have the member submit a letter that indicates their name and present contact information as well as a brief description of the reason they are seeking assistance.

We are asking that you vet these letters to ensure that the individual is a member of your Local and that to the best of your ability you can confirm the details of the hardship. Forward the letter to the General Office with a note that it has been reviewed by the local union and the Trustees of the Walsh/Di Tolla/Spivak Foundation will provide assistance.

In times such as these the solidarity of the Alliance shines brightly and we thank you for your assistance with this program. We sincerely hope that you and many of your members are safe, and we stand ready to assist those who have suffered loss.
