Crew of “Mustang” Speaks Up for Union Contract

IA President Short Appoints Safety Chairman

Congratulations to those who stood strong on the Mustang picket lines! After negotiations went late into the night, today the crew returns to work with the benefits of a union agreement in place! Working conditions such as 10 hour daily turnaround, weekend turnaround, triple time after 15 and strong meal penalties are in effect, and for those on distant location, they will now receive idle day pay. All those in IA-covered positions will also receive a day’s pay for the lost day of work.

And finally, the aggressive member of production who was the source of our unfair labor practice charge has been fired. Now that this is a union production, IATSE members are now permitted to service this production.

Organizing makes us stronger!
