Cloud Nine” signed a contract with the IATSE covering the film currently being shot in Malibu, CA it was announced by International President Thomas C. Short. Produced by Out of the Blue Productions at a budget of $2 million, the film falls under the IATSE Low Budget Agreement.
An agreement was reached with the producers after a brief work stoppage. The film, starring Burt Reynolds, Paul Rodriguez and Angie Everheart, employs a crew of approximately 40. Terms of the deal include health and pension benefits that are retroactive to the first day of principal photography, a wage increase and better terms and conditions.
International Representatives Steve Aredas and Lyle Trachtenberg spearheaded the organizing efforts.
