Le nouveau contrat est l'aboutissement de plusieurs mois de n\u00e9gociations entre le g\u00e9ant des m\u00e9dias et la Motion Picture Editors Guild (IATSE Local 700).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La question de l'\u00e9quilibre entre vie professionnelle et vie priv\u00e9e s'est av\u00e9r\u00e9e \u00eatre une pr\u00e9occupation centrale pour les employ\u00e9s de post-production de VICE lors de ces n\u00e9gociations contractuelles. \u00c0 cet \u00e9gard, la principale r\u00e9alisation de ce nouveau contrat est la conversion des semaines de travail de 50 heures en semaines de 40 heures, sans aucune r\u00e9duction de la r\u00e9mun\u00e9ration hebdomadaire nette des employ\u00e9s. (Cette conversion se traduit par une augmentation effective de 37,5% du taux horaire normal d'un employ\u00e9).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selon les termes de l'accord, les employ\u00e9s de la post-production situ\u00e9s au bas de l'\u00e9chelle des salaires b\u00e9n\u00e9ficieront d'augmentations de salaire encore plus importantes, les employ\u00e9s les moins bien pay\u00e9s couverts par le contrat recevant une augmentation imm\u00e9diate de 48,4% de leur taux horaire normal et de 8% de leur salaire hebdomadaire net garanti. Pour chaque poste de post-production de l'entreprise, le taux horaire minimum contractuel (\"\u00e9chelle\") augmentera, ces augmentations allant de 8,1% (pour le poste le mieux r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9) \u00e0 48,4% (pour le poste le moins bien r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9). Le contrat pr\u00e9voit \u00e9galement des augmentations futures pour les employ\u00e9s qui gagnent plus que les minimums contractuels (\"employ\u00e9s hors \u00e9chelle\"), mais qui gagnent moins de $200.000 par an. En outre, les employ\u00e9s couverts recevront une prime de ratification de $750.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alors que la temp\u00eate hivernale Kenan a recouvert Brooklyn de neige, les employ\u00e9s de VICE se sont r\u00e9unis par vid\u00e9oconf\u00e9rence samedi apr\u00e8s-midi pour examiner le contrat et voter la ratification.
