Loeb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Outre la r\u00e9\u00e9lection du pr\u00e9sident Loeb, du secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral-tr\u00e9sorier James B. Ces travailleurs sont rest\u00e9s en lock-out jusqu'en juillet 2021, lorsque les n\u00e9gociateurs de l'International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees Local One et du Metropolitan Opera ont conclu un accord de principe pour un nouveau contrat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En fin de compte, le contrat a \u00e9t\u00e9 le r\u00e9sultat d'un soutien public et d'une solidarit\u00e9 communautaire \u00e9crasants. Les bulletins de vote ont r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 un soutien retentissant de 96,9% \u00e0 la nouvelle convention. L'accord couvrira environ 200 travailleurs et constitue \u00e9galement le tout premier contrat de la Guilde d'animation, section locale 938 de l'IATSE, qui vient d'obtenir une charte. Les travailleurs de Titmouse ont vot\u00e9 en faveur de l'adh\u00e9sion \u00e0 l'IATSE en octobre dernier, lorsque plus de 98% ont vot\u00e9 en faveur de l'adh\u00e9sion au syndicat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En faisant front commun, nous avons r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 nous imposer \u00e0 la table des n\u00e9gociations. Afin de donner aux deux parties la possibilit\u00e9 de r\u00e9gler le diff\u00e9rend, l'orchestre a d\u00e9plac\u00e9 toutes ses repr\u00e9sentations de 2021 du centre musical \u00e0 Baltimore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les \u00e9lus du comt\u00e9 de Montgomery, dont l'ex\u00e9cutif du comt\u00e9, Marc Elrich, alarm\u00e9s par la perte du BSO et l'atteinte \u00e0 la r\u00e9putation du comt\u00e9, ont us\u00e9 de leur influence pour obtenir la fin du conflit contractuel.
