Loeb a demand\u00e9 aux membres du bureau de montrer l'exemple en approuvant un don de $25 000 \u00e0 Behind the Scenes. Le pr\u00e9sident Loeb a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 au conseil d'administration : \"Behind the Scenes soutient les membres de l'IATSE en cas de difficult\u00e9s et de besoins. Nous devons soutenir cette organisation caritative afin qu'elle puisse continuer son bon travail au nom des personnes travaillant dans notre industrie.\"<\/p>\n<p>Le vote a suivi une br\u00e8ve pr\u00e9sentation vid\u00e9o montrant un certain nombre de membres de l'IATSE racontant comment Behind the Scenes les a aid\u00e9s \u00e0 un moment particuli\u00e8rement difficile de leur vie. Le vote unanime du conseil d'administration a d\u00e9clench\u00e9 une vague de soutien \u00e0 l'organisation caritative de la part des sections locales et des membres de l'IATSE dans tout le pays.<\/p>\n<p>Lori Rubinstein, qui a repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 Behind the Scenes \u00e0 la r\u00e9union du conseil d'administration et \u00e0 la convention quadriennale la semaine suivante, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 : \"La r\u00e9ponse a \u00e9t\u00e9 imm\u00e9diate et puissante. Tout au long de la convention, de nombreuses personnes sont venues chercher des informations sur Behind the Scenes afin de les transmettre \u00e0 leur section locale et de voter pour un don. De nombreuses personnes m'ont \u00e9galement dit qu'elles avaient un fr\u00e8re ou une s\u0153ur dans leur section locale qui avait besoin d'aide.\"<\/p>\n<p>Certaines sections locales et r\u00e9gions ont vot\u00e9 sur les dons pendant le congr\u00e8s, tandis que d'autres ont agi d\u00e8s leur retour chez elles, car les contributions ont commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 arriver peu de temps apr\u00e8s. Parmi les sections locales qui se sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 engag\u00e9es \u00e0 suivre l'exemple de l'Internationale, citons la section 829 de United Scenic Artists, la section 706 de Makeup Artists &amp; Hair Stylists Guild, la section 705 de Motion Picture Costumers et la section 477 de Florida Studio Mechanics.
