CALGARY, AB -<\/strong> Les machinistes de l'une des derni\u00e8res sc\u00e8nes professionnelles non repr\u00e9sent\u00e9es de Calgary ont vot\u00e9 en juillet pour \u00eatre repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s par la section locale 212 de l'IATSE, bas\u00e9e \u00e0 Calgary et forte de 1600 membres.<\/p>\n

Aujourd'hui, l'Alberta Labour Relations Board a d\u00e9termin\u00e9 que le vote d'accr\u00e9ditation des machinistes travaillant au Vertigo Theatre a \u00e9t\u00e9 couronn\u00e9 de succ\u00e8s. Avec un soutien de 83,3%, les machinistes du th\u00e9\u00e2tre Vertigo ont gagn\u00e9 le droit d'\u00eatre repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s par l'IATSE. <\/p>\n

Fond\u00e9e en 1971, la compagnie (connue \u00e0 l'origine sous le nom de Pleiades Mystery Theatre) dispose de trois salles de spectacle : The Playhouse (sc\u00e8ne principale de 350 places) ; The Vertigo Studio (salle de spectacle de 150 places) ; et la salle de r\u00e9p\u00e9tition.<\/p>\n

\"Ces machinistes ont parl\u00e9 haut et fort, exer\u00e7ant leur droit d'\u00eatre repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s par le plus grand syndicat du spectacle au monde. Vertigo rejoint maintenant les rangs d'autres th\u00e9\u00e2tres professionnels du sud de l'Alberta qui ont des \u00e9quipes repr\u00e9sent\u00e9es par l'AI.
