Apr\u00e8s plus d'un an de n\u00e9gociations, ces travailleurs rejoindront leurs coll\u00e8gues de Titmouse Vancouver qui b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient d\u00e9j\u00e0 des avantages de la repr\u00e9sentation par l'IATSE. Les plus de 300 travailleurs de WildBrain pourront non seulement conserver les avantages et les b\u00e9n\u00e9fices dont ils jouissent d\u00e9j\u00e0, mais aussi s'appuyer sur cette base pour renforcer l'industrie canadienne de l'animation dans son ensemble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La convention collective ratifi\u00e9e par les travailleurs de WildBrain codifie de nombreux aspects importants de leur lieu de travail, en ajoutant notamment un compl\u00e9ment de cong\u00e9 de maternit\u00e9 r\u00e9mun\u00e9r\u00e9, en augmentant de 80% le nombre de jours de maladie et de cong\u00e9s flexibles des travailleurs, et en introduisant des protections contre les licenciements qui sont comparables \u00e0 celles des accords de l'IATSE en Am\u00e9rique du Nord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\"Cet accord t\u00e9moigne de pr\u00e8s de six ann\u00e9es d'organisation au niveau local. Non seulement nous avons obtenu des am\u00e9liorations mat\u00e9rielles pour les travailleurs de WildBrain, mais nous avons \u00e9galement jet\u00e9 des bases solides sur lesquelles nous nous appuierons au fil des ans.\"<\/em>a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Eddy Pedreira, pr\u00e9sident de la Guilde canadienne de l'animation, section locale 938 de l'IATSE.<em>&nbsp;\"Ce fut un honneur de travailler en \u00e9troite collaboration avec un groupe de travailleurs qui se soucient tant les uns des autres et de leur lieu de travail, et leur engagement s'est vraiment manifest\u00e9 dans cet accord\".<br><br><\/em>Bas\u00e9e en Colombie-Britannique et cr\u00e9\u00e9e en 2020, la section locale 938 de l'IATSE, la Guilde canadienne de l'animation, est le premier syndicat de l'animation au Canada et repr\u00e9sente les travailleurs de l'animation, des effets sp\u00e9ciaux et des jeux vid\u00e9o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Harley Munsie, mod\u00e9lisateur principal chez WildBrain, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9,&nbsp;<em>\"Il a fallu beaucoup de temps pour en arriver l\u00e0. Les travailleurs de WildBrain ont travaill\u00e9 dur pour cr\u00e9er cette convention collective et nous sommes tr\u00e8s fiers de tout ce que nous avons r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 accomplir ensemble. C'est dans des jours comme celui-ci que je me sens vraiment fier de travailler dans ce secteur en pleine croissance.\"<br><br><\/em>La Guilde de l'animation canadienne n\u00e9gocie actuellement sa premi\u00e8re convention collective pour les travailleurs d'ICON Animation Studio et en est \u00e0 la deuxi\u00e8me ronde de n\u00e9gociations chez Titmouse Animation Vancouver. La Guilde participe \u00e9galement \u00e0 la n\u00e9gociation de la maison d'effets visuels DNEG et lui apporte son soutien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\"Le succ\u00e8s de ce vote t\u00e9moigne de ce que les travailleurs peuvent obtenir lorsqu'ils travaillent ensemble\".<\/em>&nbsp;a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Matthew D.
