Alors que les travailleurs cherchaient \u00e0 obtenir un contrat syndical, le festival a fait appel \u00e0 un consultant ext\u00e9rieur, ce qui a conduit \u00e0 des n\u00e9gociations r\u00e9gressives et \u00e0 des propositions retir\u00e9es. En r\u00e9action, les travailleurs ont distribu\u00e9 des tracts avant et apr\u00e8s les spectacles, lanc\u00e9 une campagne d'envoi de lettres \u00e0 la direction d'OSF et fait circuler une p\u00e9tition publique. Lorsque la direction a refus\u00e9 d'am\u00e9liorer son offre salariale initiale de seulement 1% d'augmentation annuelle, des pr\u00e9paratifs ont \u00e9t\u00e9 faits en vue d'un bannissement public et d'actions de travail, ce qui a finalement permis aux travailleurs d'obtenir un accord de principe le 3 juin, \u00e0 l'issue d'une session de n\u00e9gociation de 10 heures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le contrat final, ratifi\u00e9 \u00e0 l'unanimit\u00e9 cinq jours plus tard, pr\u00e9voit notamment des heures garanties (garantissant l'acc\u00e8s aux soins de sant\u00e9), des jours de repos, des effectifs minimums, des licenciements justifi\u00e9s, des droits de rappel, une allocation pour les t\u00e9l\u00e9phones portables et un comit\u00e9 patronal\/syndical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette victoire est la derni\u00e8re \u00e9tape en date pour la section locale 154 de l'IATSE, qui est pass\u00e9e de 65 membres lors de sa cr\u00e9ation en 2016 \u00e0 plus de 150 aujourd'hui, repr\u00e9sentant d\u00e9sormais les travailleurs de 18 d\u00e9partements de l'OSF, dont les installations, les finances, l'atelier de costumes, l'accueil, l'acc\u00e8s, les concessions et toutes les \u00e9quipes d'exploitation. Avec les travailleurs de la billetterie et des ventes qui rejoignent le syndicat, la section locale continue de renforcer le pouvoir des travailleurs dans l'un des th\u00e9\u00e2tres les plus c\u00e9l\u00e8bres d'Am\u00e9rique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"Nos travailleurs de la billetterie sont des personnes r\u00e9silientes et travailleuses qui m\u00e9ritent un contrat \u00e9quitable. Apr\u00e8s neuf mois de n\u00e9gociations, ils ont obtenu des protections de travail qui \u00e9taient activement menac\u00e9es\", a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Breena Cope, agent d'affaires de la section 154 de l'IATSE.
