SHORT, PR\u00c9SIDENT INTERNATIONAL<br \/>\nRE : L'OURAGAN KATRINA<\/p>\n<p>Dans le sillage de la d\u00e9vastation caus\u00e9e par l'ouragan Katrina, la Fondation Walsh\/DiTolla\/Spivak cr\u00e9e un fonds sp\u00e9cial pour venir en aide aux membres de l'I.A.T.S.E. et \u00e0 leurs familles qui vont conna\u00eetre de graves difficult\u00e9s financi\u00e8res.<\/p>\n<p>De nombreux membres de l'I.A.T.S.E. ont subi d'\u00e9normes pertes et ont \u00e9t\u00e9 contraints d'\u00e9vacuer leur maison. D'autres ont perdu leur emploi et souffriront de l'impact \u00e9conomique qui en r\u00e9sulte sur leurs communaut\u00e9s. D'autres encore devront faire face \u00e0 des factures m\u00e9dicales inattendues ou devront fournir un logement ou d'autres formes d'assistance \u00e0 leurs proches qui ont subi des pertes. Nous esp\u00e9rons que l'aide financi\u00e8re de la Fondation permettra \u00e0 ces membres et \u00e0 leurs familles de se remettre sur pied \u00e0 la suite de cette trag\u00e9die.<\/p>\n<p>L'I.A.T.S.E. a accept\u00e9 de faire un don de $10.000 au Fonds. Nous demandons aux syndicats locaux, aux membres et aux amis de la communaut\u00e9 I.A.T.S.E. de contribuer ce qu'ils peuvent.
