Le 19 juin 2006, les membres du parti d\u00e9mocratique du comt\u00e9 d'Orange ont \u00e9lu Kimberly Bowles comme nouvelle pr\u00e9sidente. Mme Bowles a imm\u00e9diatement assum\u00e9 le r\u00f4le de leader et guidera le parti d\u00e9mocrate local tout au long du cycle \u00e9lectoral 2006.<\/p>\n

Le poste de pr\u00e9sident est devenu vacant en mai lorsque Tim Shea a d\u00e9missionn\u00e9. Mme Bowles sera la pr\u00e9sidente jusqu'en d\u00e9cembre 2006, date \u00e0 laquelle l'\u00e9lection r\u00e9guli\u00e8re aura lieu pour \u00e9lire un pr\u00e9sident pour un mandat de deux ans.<\/p>\n

Mme Bowles est membre du comit\u00e9 ex\u00e9cutif du parti d\u00e9mocratique du comt\u00e9 d'Orange depuis 2000 et membre du conseil d'administration depuis 2004. Elle a fait partie int\u00e9grante du comit\u00e9 de planification \u00e0 long terme du parti d\u00e9mocrate local, qui a contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 r\u00e9tablir le parti en tant qu'op\u00e9ration unifi\u00e9e, bien g\u00e9r\u00e9e et disciplin\u00e9e, soutenant les \u00e9lus d\u00e9mocrates locaux ainsi que les candidats d\u00e9mocrates.<\/p>\n

En outre, Mme Bowles si\u00e8ge au conseil d'administration de l'AFL-CIO de Floride et, depuis 1993, elle est membre de la direction de l'International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees Local No. 631.
