Loeb, transmet un message au Congr\u00e8s pour s'opposer \u00e0 la taxe d'accise"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mardi dernier, le 12 janvier, la Chambre des repr\u00e9sentants a repris ses travaux pour la seconde moiti\u00e9 de la 111 e session du Congr\u00e8s ; le S\u00e9nat a repris ses travaux hier, le 19 janvier.<\/p>\n<p>Avec la l\u00e9gislation sur les soins de sant\u00e9 au premier plan, le pr\u00e9sident Loeb a envoy\u00e9 une lettre le 14 janvier \u00e0 tous les membres de la Chambre et du S\u00e9nat au nom des membres de l'IATSE :<\/p>\n<p>\"... le projet de loi sur les soins de sant\u00e9 adopt\u00e9 par le S\u00e9nat contient des dispositions qui taxeront les plans de soins de sant\u00e9 dits \"Cadillac\". Les syndicats ont n\u00e9goci\u00e9 ces avantages dans le cadre du paquet \u00e9conomique pendant de nombreuses ann\u00e9es. Maintenant, apr\u00e8s avoir agi de mani\u00e8re responsable en fournissant une couverture sant\u00e9 significative, nous allons \u00eatre punis en voyant nos avantages tax\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>\"Nous avons travaill\u00e9 dur et soutenu les candidats aux fonctions politiques qui ont la capacit\u00e9 d'emp\u00eacher cette parodie. Il est inacceptable que les syndicats, les v\u00e9ritables champions des travailleurs et le principal v\u00e9hicule pour faire avancer le programme de soins de sant\u00e9 de l'Am\u00e9rique, puissent se retrouver dans une situation pire qu'avant.\"<\/p>\n<p>Mise \u00e0 jour : L'AFL-CIO a inform\u00e9 ses affili\u00e9s que des r\u00e9unions de haut niveau ont eu lieu la semaine derni\u00e8re \u00e0 la Maison Blanche avec le Pr\u00e9sident Obama, les membres du Congr\u00e8s et le personnel pour discuter de la l\u00e9gislation en cours sur les soins de sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Au centre des discussions se trouvait l'opposition des travailleurs \u00e0 une taxe d'accise injuste sur les prestations de soins de sant\u00e9. Bien qu'il semble qu'une telle taxe ne sera pas compl\u00e8tement \u00e9limin\u00e9e du projet de loi, des changements ont \u00e9t\u00e9 convenus qui limiteront consid\u00e9rablement son impact sur la plupart des familles de la classe moyenne, y compris nos membres. En vertu de l'accord n\u00e9goci\u00e9 avec la Maison Blanche, les r\u00e9gimes de prestations syndicales ne seront pas soumis \u00e0 la taxe avant 2018 au plus t\u00f4t.
