Les huit membres de l'\u00e9quipe charg\u00e9s de la menuiserie, de l'\u00e9clairage, de la garde-robe, des accessoires et de l'audio ont vot\u00e9 par 6 voix contre 2 en faveur de la syndicalisation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Riverside Theater est un lieu d'autoproduction d'\u00e9v\u00e9nements th\u00e9\u00e2traux et accueille l'un des plus grands campus th\u00e9\u00e2traux du sud de la Floride, compos\u00e9 de trois sc\u00e8nes diff\u00e9rentes ainsi que d'une salle de concert en plein air et d'un espace de repr\u00e9sentation en bo\u00eete noire. La campagne de syndicalisation a d\u00e9but\u00e9 en d\u00e9cembre avec la collecte de cartes d'autorisation par les travailleurs, et s'est achev\u00e9e par une \u00e9lection le 2 avril.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bo Howard, repr\u00e9sentant international de l'IATSE, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 : \"Tout au long du processus de syndicalisation, l'\u00e9quipe de Riverside a fait preuve de solidarit\u00e9 et de force en r\u00e9sistant \u00e0 la campagne de propagande antisyndicale de la direction. Nous sommes fiers d'accueillir cette \u00e9quipe dans nos rangs de plus en plus nombreux et sommes pr\u00eats \u00e0 la soutenir autant que possible.\"&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Une fois l'\u00e9lection de syndicalisation r\u00e9ussie, la prochaine \u00e9tape consistera pour les travailleurs \u00e0 n\u00e9gocier collectivement un contrat avec la direction du th\u00e9\u00e2tre afin d'aborder des facteurs tels que les avantages sociaux, les salaires, les horaires et les conditions de travail en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral.  \"Je suis tr\u00e8s enthousiaste et plein d'espoir \u00e0 propos du syndicat\", a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 un membre de l'\u00e9quipe. \"J'ai h\u00e2te de n\u00e9gocier un contrat syndical qui r\u00e9ponde \u00e0 nos besoins en tant qu'artisans qualifi\u00e9s.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette victoire intervient alors que les travailleurs des th\u00e9\u00e2tres r\u00e9gionaux de tout le pays continuent de rejoindre l'IATSE afin d'obtenir de meilleures conditions de travail, une formation compl\u00e8te, des mesures de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 solides et des avantages sociaux.
