Les employ\u00e9s de sc\u00e8ne du Fleck Dance Theatre, situ\u00e9 au Harbourfront Centre, ont demand\u00e9 \u00e0 la section locale 58 de les repr\u00e9senter et celle-ci a d\u00e9pos\u00e9 une demande d'accr\u00e9ditation aupr\u00e8s de la Commission des relations de travail de l'Ontario le 4 avril. \u00c0 l'instar de cette histoire, la section locale 58 a \u00e9galement commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 travailler avec les employ\u00e9s de sc\u00e8ne de l'Artscape Sandbox, et une demande d'accr\u00e9ditation pour ce lieu a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9pos\u00e9e le 11 avril. Les votes ont eu lieu \u00e0 une semaine d'intervalle, et par une majorit\u00e9 \u00e9crasante, les machinistes des deux sites ont vot\u00e9 pour \u00eatre repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s par la section 58 de l'IATSE.<\/p>\n<p>Ces deux salles sont des \u00e9l\u00e9ments importants de la mosa\u00efque culturelle de Toronto. Le Fleck Dance Theatre, d'une capacit\u00e9 de 446 places, est un th\u00e9\u00e2tre proscenium g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement utilis\u00e9 pour des spectacles de danse ou de th\u00e9\u00e2tre, et constitue un \u00e9l\u00e9ment essentiel des multiples offres culturelles du Harbourfront Centre. Le Sandbox est une sorte de toile blanche de 6 000 pieds carr\u00e9s, qui invite \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 et \u00e0 la personnalisation. Il est r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement utilis\u00e9 pour tout, des performances artistiques et des productions th\u00e9\u00e2trales aux rassemblements sociaux et aux \u00e9v\u00e9nements professionnels.<\/p>\n<p>Le 27 avril, la Commission du travail a d\u00e9livr\u00e9 \u00e0 la section 58 de l'IATSE les certifications pour les deux sites.
