Silver Spring, MD - Le National Labor College (NLC) a le plaisir d'annoncer l'\u00e9lection du pr\u00e9sident de IATSE International, Matthew D. Loeb, \u00e0 son conseil d'administration.<\/p>\n

Depuis qu'il a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9lu pr\u00e9sident international de l'IATSE en 2008, M. Loeb s'est fermement engag\u00e9 \u00e0 offrir des possibilit\u00e9s de formation aux dirigeants, aux syndicats locaux et aux membres de l'IATSE. Le th\u00e8me de la prochaine convention de l'IATSE met l'accent sur \"l'\u00e9ducation\" comme l'un des piliers de la r\u00e9ussite du syndicat du spectacle.<\/p>\n

\"Nous ne devons rien de moins aux travailleurs que nous repr\u00e9sentons que d'\u00eatre bien \u00e9quip\u00e9s, avec les dirigeants les plus forts et les membres les plus engag\u00e9s\", a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Loeb. \"Ce n'est que par un programme continu d'\u00e9ducation cibl\u00e9e que nous pouvons assumer notre responsabilit\u00e9. Le National Labor College reste crucial pour faire avancer le mouvement syndical.\"<\/p>\n

Le pr\u00e9sident Loeb a lanc\u00e9 le programme d'aide \u00e0 l'\u00e9ducation syndicale (LEAP) de l'IATSE, gr\u00e2ce auquel il a \u00e9tabli une relation avec le National Labor College, o\u00f9 de nombreux officiers et dirigeants de syndicats locaux ont suivi des cours sur le travail.<\/p>\n
