Ces lettres ne sont pas pass\u00e9es inaper\u00e7ues.<\/p>\n<p>Nous f\u00e9licitons le gouvernement d'avoir pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 le projet de loi C-32, une premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape essentielle pour que le Canada dispose de lois modernes sur le droit d'auteur qui prot\u00e8gent les industries cr\u00e9atives ainsi que les hommes et les femmes qui travaillent dans la production cin\u00e9matographique et t\u00e9l\u00e9visuelle au Canada.<\/p>\n<p>S'il est mis en \u0153uvre, le projet de loi permettra au Canada de ratifier les trait\u00e9s internationaux qui exigent la protection des verrous num\u00e9riques et d'autres mesures visant \u00e0 pr\u00e9venir le vol en ligne.  Ces mesures permettraient de prot\u00e9ger et de cr\u00e9er des emplois dans notre industrie en donnant aux cr\u00e9ateurs les outils juridiques n\u00e9cessaires pour prot\u00e9ger leurs investissements afin de les r\u00e9investir dans des projets futurs.<\/p>\n<p>Le projet de loi C-32 donne \u00e9galement aux consommateurs la possibilit\u00e9 de g\u00e9rer le contenu comme le d\u00e9calage temporel, le changement de format (copie de contenu acquis l\u00e9gitimement sur des appareils qu'ils poss\u00e8dent) ou la copie de sauvegarde. Le projet de loi ne pr\u00e9voit pas l'extension de la redevance controvers\u00e9e pour copie priv\u00e9e \u00e0 des appareils tels que les ipods, ce qui aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 extr\u00eamement impopulaire aupr\u00e8s des consommateurs et n'\u00e9tait pas soutenu par l'IATSE.<\/p>\n<p>Le pr\u00e9sident international Matthew D. Loeb a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 : \"La r\u00e9forme du droit d'auteur est une question complexe qui n\u00e9cessite des concessions de la part de toutes les parties.
