Huit sections locales de l'IATSE ont vers\u00e9 des contributions au Fonds des acteurs du Canada, couronnant ainsi une ann\u00e9e 2008 fructueuse pour le Fonds, qui est la bou\u00e9e de sauvetage de l'industrie du divertissement au Canada. Le Fonds fournit une aide financi\u00e8re d'urgence aux artistes et aux membres d'\u00e9quipe du cin\u00e9ma, de la t\u00e9l\u00e9vision, du th\u00e9\u00e2tre, de la musique et de la danse. Les sections locales participantes comprennent les sections locales 514 (province de Qu\u00e9bec), 849 (Canada atlantique) et 873 (Toronto) des techniciens de production de studios cin\u00e9matographiques. Parmi les autres sections locales qui ont contribu\u00e9 au total, mentionnons la section locale 129 de Hamilton-Brantford Stage, la section locale 173 de Ontario Projectionists, la section locale 262 de Projectionists and Front of House (Montr\u00e9al), la section locale 822 de Theatrical Wardrobe, Make-up Artists and Hair Stylists (Toronto) et la section locale 667 de Eastern Canada Camera and Unit Publicists.<\/p>\n
